Lusitano Retreat
These are not background tracks. The teaching songs turn each real module into a sing-along lesson — sing it once and you know the order of work — while the soundtrack keeps the crew moving and lets visitors feel the retreat before they arrive.

Build School
A 30-song course where each track teaches one real build module — land, groundworks, water, energy and shelter. These first lessons are uploaded and ready to sing on site.
Build School #1 · Choosing the land
The field sequence for reading raw land before you buy or rent: walk the ground, find the water, trace the sun, check legal access and the zoning papers (PDM, RAN, REN), weigh the fire risk — then score it.
Build School #2 · Site layout & planning
Day-zero site organisation: mark the storage zones, raise a covered lumber rack, sign every zone, build the A-frame war board with today / doing / done cards, then rout bilingual wayfinding signs.
Build School #3 · Access track & drainage
Why water management comes first on raw land: walk the route, lay the gravel pad, run the trackway mats, and dig the swale on contour so the rain goes where you tell it. €200–500, 1–2 days.
Build School #4 · Caravan placement & decks
Setting a caravan so it lasts: pick a high, dry spot, level it on tyre-and-board pads, build the pallet deck and steps, then skirt it and let it breathe.
Build School #5 · Paths & wayfinding
Connecting the whole site so guests find their own way: granite stepping stones on the desire lines, woodchip soft trails with log edges, bottle-glass borders, slate markers and pallet-wood signs.
Build School #8 · Rainwater harvesting
Catching free water off the roof: guttering and a first-flush diverter, a food-grade IBC cascade for storage, and a header tank on a stone plinth so gravity feeds the whole site. Karaoke subtitles burned in.

Beginner planting songs for Norte Portugal — sun and shade, soil and mulch, herbs, vegetables and the food forest.

A beginner's first garden lesson for Portugal: read the morning sun, the afternoon heat, the partial shade and the water access before you plant herbs, greens and young trees.
Garden School #2 · Soil, compost & mulch
Water-conscious soil prep: loosen the compacted soil, work in mature compost, water deeply and mulch before the Portuguese summer heat arrives.
Garden School #3 · Mediterranean herbs
A simple herb lesson for Portugal: rosemary, thyme, oregano, sage and lavender like sun and drainage; basil wants warmth and water; mint is best grown contained because it spreads.
Garden School #4 · Beginner vegetables
The starter vegetable patch: which easy crops to begin with, how to space them, and the simple rhythm of sowing, watering and harvesting through the Portuguese seasons.
Garden School #5 · Food forest layers
How a food forest stacks: canopy trees, smaller fruit, shrubs, herbs, ground cover, roots and climbers working together as one living, low-maintenance system.
